Pecco Bagnaia tries to see the glass half full after pre-qualifying, closed with the ninth time: “It was important to be able to find something that made a difference since this year whatever I tried gave me the same feeling”.
“The pace was there, with the soft behind I dropped sharply and in the third run I went strong. In time attacks I struggle, but I made a mistake because I pushed a certain way on a track where time is made on the exit instead of on the run. In the second run I could have hit the second time, but I went long”.
“The new chassis? It has pros and cons, we are in a situation where sometimes it is better to leave everything as it’is”, concluded the’former world champion.
