Ducati, Davide Tardozzi blunt about Pecco Bagnaia: "After the disaster…"

Pecco Bagnaia’s third place in the MotoGP German Grand Prix does not hide the alarm in Ducati about the Piedmontese rider, who continues to struggle with the bike and is far behind teammate Marc Marquez, who is increasingly on the run for the title. Executive Davide Tardozzi after the race commented on Pecco’s moment in clear words to Sky microphones.
“After Saturday’s little disaster (sprint race closed out of the 10 ed) there was something to recover and today Pecco made podium. It’s clear that some rider fell in front of him and he couldn“t catch Alex Marquez“.
“After seeing several riders slide, it’s likely that he put himself in a cautious condition as well. I remain hopeful for Brno, we are evaluating some situations”.
“In Assen he had done very well, so we need to understand why he didn’t do as well here. I am confident about Brno because there is the new asphalt that has more grip and this could help especially Pecco’s performance. The issue is always the same and we are working on it, we have the duty to bring Pecco back to fight in the positions that he deserves, there with Marc for the victory”.
