Ballacanestro Reggiana has announced that it has reached an agreement to renew the contract of the athlete Kwan Cheatham: the American will wear the red and white jersey again in the 2025/2026 season.
Cheatham, a 208-centimeter wing, traveled to over 10 points, 5 rebounds and 36 percent from three in over 27 minutes of usage last season, touching nearly 13 points and 59 percent from the arc on average in the post-season.
Coach Dimitris Priftis commented on the renewal as follows, “We are pleased with the return of Kwan, a player who was certainly an important part of the team’s achievements last season. It is crucial for us to maintain a strong core of players from last year. Kwan knows our system, both offensively and in the defensive half. His was an important year and hopefully next year will be even better.”
These are the words of Kwan Cheatham at the signing: “Reggio Emilia is a city that lives for basketball, with fantastic fans. My family and I have loved living there and we can’t wait to come back. I’m happy to come back to work with Coach Priftis, catch up with some teammates from last season and get to know the new ones. We did very well last year, but I come back even more motivated to achieve our goals.”
