Inter-Leoni: Javier Zanetti’s confirmation arrives.

L’Inter is on the hunt for a central defender and the number one suspect is Giovanni Leoni, a talented youngster born in 2006 and owned by Parma. The management of the Nerazzurri club since last summer market session, when he eventually switched from Sampdoria to the Gialloblù.
The Beneamata, however, has to reckon with the ducal club’s very high demand, which is not willing to go below 40 million euros, while the Nerazzurri would put on the plate a 30-million offer for the 18-year-old Italian center-back.
Confirming Inter’s interest in Leoni was Nerazzurri vice president Javier Zanetti, who spoke to SportMediaset microphones: “Leoni is a really interesting young man for us. Let” see if there will be any chance”.
In the last season with the Parma shirt, Leoni made 17 appearances, including 14 as a starter, scoring one goal and receiving three yellow cards and one red card.
