Virtus Bologna: new name to complete the long department

Virtus Bologna is, quite literally, changing its skin. Completely overhauled the roster of the’last season. In fact, almost all the pillars of the Champion d’Italia team have packed their bags. The’latest to say goodbye to the Black Vs was Isaia Cordinier. The 28-year-old Frenchman dreams of an NBA call-up but is also reportedly flirting with Efes, one of Europe&#8217s most emblazoned clubs.

Contemporaneously, the Bologna club is setting up a top-level roster so as to please coach Dusko Ivanovic as much as possible. After the Carsen Edwards coup that generated a lot of excitement among the bianconero people, they are looking for a center to complete the longs department.

The most talked about name is that of Trevion Williams. Born in Chicago, class of 2000, he is a 206 cm long who can provide great physicality under the boards. Currently at Maccabi Tel Aviv (with whom he won the Israel Cup), he could come in very handy for coach Dusko Ivanovic.

Clearly this is not an easy operation but Virtus Bologna has already shown in this market session that it succeeds in the’impossible. The name of Jonathan Motley, seen in the last season with the Hapoel Tel Aviv jersey, has also been mentioned but the negotiation has reportedly stalled. Surely, in a close call, the Black Vs will still have the center that is still missing.
