Antonio Faravelli’s wines starring at Vigevano Golf Club

Antonio Faravelli, a winemaker and golfer from Montù Beccaria (Oltrepò Pavese), owner of Cantine Vitea and creator of the project “Golf and Wine 1895”, has been exclusively chosen by the prestigious Golf Club Vigevano to represent the combination of sport, wine and territory.
The Golf and Wine 1895 brand, conceived as a tool to promote Made in Italy and wine and food tourism, has aroused great interest, prompting Faravelli to start new collaborations with some of the most important companies in the Oltrepò area. The goal is ambitious: to revive the quality of local productions, promote the area and strengthen the link between wine and food, sports and hospitality.
The project stems from the very roots of Cantine Vitea, founded in 1895 by great-grandfather Antonio, a company that has always cultivated its vineyards according to agricultural practices with low environmental impact. A philosophy that prioritizes quality, optimal ripening of grapes and enhancement of aromas, and that has led Vitea wines to win important international awards: among the latest, a new silver medal at the Decanter world competition.
It is no coincidence that some of Vitea’s labels have also been appreciated by the great composer Giacomo Puccini, bearing witness to an excellence that combines tradition and contemporary vision.
With Golf and Wine 1895, Antonio Faravelli aims to make Oltrepò Pavese a point of reference for those seeking authentic Italian experiences between wine, sport and culture.
