During the latest episode of his podcast, Jimmy Connors chastised Carlos Alcaraz. What rattled the 5-time US Open winner most of all were comments made by the Murcia champion during the Wimbledon final he later lost to Jannik Sinner.

Alcaraz admitted to his team during the match that Sinner was much stronger than him from the back court but for Connors he would have to work to fix it: “I don&#8217t know if I would have ever admitted it. Whatever happens, you have to jump in, change your game a little bit’or try to do something a little bit’different than usual”.

“It happened to me, too, that I realized that the opponent was stronger, consequently I tried to change something and sometimes it worked out well for me” ruled Jimmy Connors.

The tennis legend, inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1998, has always praised Carlos Alcaraz but this time he was quite critical of the Murcia champion.
