Closing his second season at Pallacanestro Brescia with the achievement of the Scudetto Final (then lost to Virtus Bologna), Jason Burnell has decided to continue his biancoblù adventure at least for another year.

On Monday, in fact, came the club’s officialization of the Jacksonville State product&#8217s contract renewal.

To the club&#8217s official channels, Burnell explained that there is a particular reason behind his choice to remain in biancoblù: “I feel great in Brescia and it is also for this reason that I chose to sign again for Pallacanestro Brescia. I love Brescia, it has made me grow both as a man and as a player. The club has been there for me in a difficult time of life for my family. I will never forget it”.

“I have respected and will respect Mauro Ferrari as a second father– added Burnell, the sixth man of the year in Serie A last season -, his advice has been a real treasure for me. The Euroleague is my dream, but during next season I will play hard for the city of Brescia, more than I did this year”.

Nineteen-year-old Jason Burnell arrived in Italy in 2019, concluding his college experience in the United States, which began at Georgia Southern, continued at St. Petersburg and ended at Jacksonville State. Before arriving in Brescia in 2023, he also wore the uniforms of Cantù, Dinamo Sassari and Brindisi. Next will be his third season in biancoblù.
