Naples, Lorenzo Lucca has a clear goal

The protagonist of the presentation press conference staged in Dimaro, the site of Napoli’s training camp, the new acquisition of the Neapolitan club Lorenzo Lucca has clear ideas about the goals he wants to achieve not only in his new team but also in the international arena, with the jersey of the national team led by Gennaro Gattuso.

“I heard the coach and he asked me how I was doing – said Lucca, speaking precisely about the new technical commissioner -. I came to Naples also thinking about the national team, it was my first choice and I am very happy to be here. The conditions are perfect for me to play my cards and, who knows, go to the 2026 World Cup”.

Before Gattuso, however, there&#8217s to convince Napoli coach Antonio Conte: Lucca, however, wants to rise to the challenge. “Conte is an experienced and winning coach– said the new Napoli striker -, my task is to be in tune with him on the field, at the tactical and mental level”.

In Naples, Lucca will play with a center forward of international caliber like Romelu Lukaku: “He is making an incredible career– he said –he is a fantastic footballer. I can learn a lot from him, I can&#8217t wait to play with him”. A first opportunity will be the match against’Arezzo, scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, in Dimaro.
