NBA: Los Angeles Clippers want to make Chris Paul happy

Chris Paul is one of the most beloved NBA players ever. The 40-year-old point guard played the All Star Game 12 times and was, for years, a true NBA All Star. Before officially retiring, he would like to play one more NBA season and would like to do so near Los Angeles, where his family lives.
Reduced from a not easy year with the San Antonio Spurs jersey, Chris Paul could see his dream come true very soon. The Los Angeles Clippers seem, in fact, ready to welcome him.
After the Los Angeles Lakers have tacked on Marcus Smart, here comes the “Cousins” seem determined to give a chance to Chris Paul who is at home in the Clippers. As many as six seasons played in the Los Angeles Clippers’ jersey (2011 to 2017), complete with the record in assists in franchise history.
“He is a great Clipper. He obviously possesses several qualities that we are interested in. And, of course, we are considering him very, very strongly” the words of Lawrence Frank, Clippers management chief, reported by ESPN. After adding Bradley Beal, John Collins and Brook Lopez to the roster, it looks very much like 40-year veteran Chris Paul will also arrive for the’last dance of his very long career.
