MotoGp manager Carlo Pernat at the microphones of GpOne spoke after Marc Marquez’s umpteenth victory in Brno: “Let&#8217s go on a record-breaking, it is the fifth consecutive time he has won it all. I would say it is becoming increasingly evident that when Dall’Igna took Marquez to Ducati he pulled the plug on the World Championship”.

“However, there is something that is emerging in a positive way, and that is Aprilia. They made a good bike in Noale and in the last races Bezzecchi is always there, he stays close, he tries. He knows that Marc is stronger, that he is a phenomenon, but he still tries: for me it will be the leitmotif of the second part of the World Championship, the’arrival at the top of Bezzecchi and Martin with the’Aprilia”.

Pernat points out the current difficulties of Ducati, Marc Marquez aside: “The only one who is going strong right now is Marquez, because he is a phenomenon who runs on top of problems. Even he between the lines sometimes says that the bike is not so easy to get right, for me this will weigh in the second part of the season”.

“Dall’Igna certainly doesn&#8217t want to be behind his rivals and will bring some new things, but it seems to me it&#8217s a more difficult year and Marquez has been a kind of lifesaver. Maybe it&#8217s a bit of an exaggeration, but it&#8217s helped to stay ahead despite the problems. In any case in the Constructors it looks like a Ducati Cup, there are too many differences with the others in terms of points to think of a balanced World Championship”.
