No Inter for Xhaka: the'agent's announcement
No Granit Xhaka for Inter: the Swiss midfielder, after being courted by AC Milan, had ended up in the Nerazzurri’s orbit, looking for a midfielder in case of Hakan Calhanoglu’s departure. According to the player’s agent, however, the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder’s future lies in the Premier League.
“We have reached an agreement in principle with Sunderland. Granit wants to return to the Premier League and Sunderland excites him: he intends to accept this challenge” are the words of the prosecutor reported by Sky Sport.
“We hope that Leverkusen will respect his wish to leave and that the clubs will find an agreement soon”, the prosecutor continued.
Among the alternatives to Calhanoglu, the Nerazzurri are also evaluating Lazio midfielder Nicolò Rovella.
