The seventeenth stage of the Tour de France 2025, the last one suitable for sprinters before the final rush in the mountains and the Parisian catwalk on Sunday, delivers to the almanacs an unchanged general classification, also accomplice to the fall at the beginning of the last kilometer that, as per the regulations, led to the resetting of the gaps being occurred in the last 5 km of a flat stage.

Tadej Pogacar remains firmly at the top of the ranking that assigns the yellow jersey: 61h50’16” the overall time of the UAE Team Emirates XRG champion, who retains a good 4’15” lead over Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma-Lease a Bike). In third is Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe), who is 9’03” behind Pogacar.

Completing the Top 5 are Oscar Onley (Team Picnic PostNL), who is 11’04” behind the top of the standings, and Primoz Roglic, Lipowitz’s teammate, who instead pays compared to Pogacar 11’42”. The first of the Italians is Simone Velasco: the XDS Astana Team rider is 1h52’42” away from the first position in the overall standings.

As for the other jerseys, the green one in the points classification remains on the shoulders of Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek), winner of Wednesday’s stage and now on 312 points, compared to Pogacar’s 240. A duo is leading the climbers’ classification, which awards the polka-dot jersey: there are 60 points, in fact, for both Pogacar and Lenny Martinez (Bahrain Victorious), with the latter wearing it in the peloton since the Slovenian already wears the leader’s symbol in the overall.

Lipowitz, on the other hand, is ahead of all those eligible for the points classification, with 61h59’19” second, at 2’01” is Britain” Onley. In the team standings, finally, Team Visma-Lease a Bike dominates with 186h15’24’, 15’50” better than the UAE Team Emirates XRG, which instead occupies the second position.
