Jannik Sinner, well-known journalist goads Federica Pellegrini: "She' jealous of him"

The diatribe between Italy’s former swimming champion Federica Pellegrini and tennis number one Jannik Sinner over the Clostebol case continues to cause controversy. Many fans of the South Tyrolean tennis player had harshly attacked on social media the 2008 Beijing gold medalist, who had exposed herself by claiming that the favorable treatment compared to other athletes.
On the pages of the Corriere dei Territori, journalist Enzo Bucchioni talking about the’social impact of Sinner has pricked the’former swimmer: “When Federica Pellegrini won, someone who is jealous of Sinner (this also happens), in the pools there was a boom (…)”.
Federica Pellegrini has responded ironically to the controversy of the past few days, posting on her Instagram profile a video in which she sends barbs at her “haters“.
Sinner, on the other hand, shies away from getting into the controversy, and continues to enjoy some more time off ahead of his return to the U.S. court, first in Cincinnati and then Flushing Meadows, two tournaments in which he had triumphed last year despite the ongoing Clostebol case.
