A U.S. company interested in'buying Cagliari

This is the subject of the letter sent to the president of the Sardinian club Tommaso Giulini by EKN Development Group, a development company based in Newport Beach, California, with offices in Bergamo: “Non-binding expression of interest in the acquisition of Cagliari Calcio, including all rights to build a stadium and all related services”.

The letter was also sent to ANSA, which reported the news. The EKN group says it is interested in the’acquisition of Cagliari Calcio“along with all rights for the construction of a complete sports village”.

“We kindly request any relevant information you can provide to enable us to properly evaluate this opportunity” concludes the American company founded by Ebbie Khan Nakhjavani. EKN Development – the website reads – is a visionary investment and development company specializing in hospitality and mixed-use real estate.

Sources close to Cagliari let it be known that this is not the first proposal received, and President Giulini himself, during a recent press conference in Cagliari, had said that he had received proposals from about 20 figures in recent years.
