Jannik Sinner-Carlos Alcaraz: candid admission by Dominic Thiem

Dominic Thiem made a confession about Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in an exclusive interview with Chronicles of Tennis. “The finals at Roland Garros and Wimbledon were incredible – he began -They raised the bar of the sport beyond what we were used to. They are playing faster and faster but they are making fewer and fewer mistakes and moving better and better”.
“I didn“t expect after the Big 3 that 2 more generational talents would come along so quickly– admitted the 2020 Us Open champion -. And Novak Djokovic is still playing”.
“Today they are too far ahead – added the Austrian former tennis player -. Then they can lose too: we saw it with Grigor Dimitrov at Wimbledon, or even Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Jack Draper, if they play perfectly. I doubt they will win every Slam in the next 10 years, but today they are one step ahead of everybody”.
“I would have liked to play in my prime against Alcaraz and Sinner. I don”t know how it would have ended but we would have had fun” concluded Thiem.
