Marko Arnautovic, new Red Star player, introduced himself at a press conference. “It&#8220s a great honor for me to be here with my new family– he began -I&#8217m here now, I don&#8217t like to talk too much, I prefer to prove everything on the court. I can&#8217t wait to train and play with the team”.

He then explained his choice to wear red and white: “I told my brother that my dream was to one day play for Red Star. I am so happy to be here. I am not one to talk much, I have great respect for you journalists, but I am just a footballer”.

The former Inter Milan player did not hold back tears when talking about Sinisa Mihajlovic: “Sinisa was everything to me: a brother, a father, he was everything to me. I told him that one day I would come to Red Star. In every conversation we had, we talked about Red Star, more than about Bologna at the time. I can say that everybody is happy, I talked to his wife and children, everybody is happy, everybody cried. This transfer for me is very emotional, I cried more in the last three days than in my whole life”.

“As soon as I signed, Nicolò Barella called me – Arnautovic recounted -He told me that his dream is to come to the Marakana. He will come, but not as a player, but as a fan. Or maybe even as a player, you never know”.

Closing on the future: “I think I will end my career here, I am 36 years old. I am proud to be able to end it here, but this is the beginning of a new chapter and I look forward to enjoying it”.
