One of the telenovelas of the 2025 summer soccer market, the one related to the future of Ardon Jashari, continues with no holds barred. After the’ultimatum to AC Milan by Bruges, the club that owns the player’s card, willing to sell him but for no less than 40 million, came the sharp response of the Rossoneri’s sporting director, Igli Tare.

“Our relations with Bruges are good – Tare explained to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ -, but we have already made a new offer for Jashari, a figure we consider important and appropriate to the value of the player. We have no intention of going further”. Milan, specifically, has offered 33.5 million right away, plus another 5 upon reaching certain goals.

The Swiss footballer has repeatedly expressed his desire to spouse the Rossoneri cause, but the distance between the two clubs in the negotiation does not allow him to crown his’ambition of playing in Serie A. There is no shortage of time to conclude the deal, but Milan would like to hurry up the timetable to allow the player to train as soon as possible with those who would become his new teammates if the negotiations actually go through.

Central midfielder born in 2002, a Swiss of Albanian descent, Jashari took his first steps as a footballer in Baar and Zug 94, before joining the youth sector of Lucerne, with which he made his debut among the seniors, gaining more than fair consideration at the European level. In 2024 the move to Bruges: with the black-and-white club he won the 2024-2025 Belgian Cup (2-1 to’Anderlecht in the final).
