F1, Gp Belgium: more headaches for Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Antonelli and Fernando Alonso

Negative protagonists of the Belgian Grand Prix qualifying session, where they failed to make it past Q1, Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Antonelli and Fernando Alonso are dealing with another headache on the immediate eve of Sunday’s race. The Ferrari driver, the young Bolognese from Mercedes and the veteran from Aston Martin will in fact be forced to start from the pit lane, as their respective teams have decided to intervene on some power unit components, replacing them.
Hamilton had finished with the 16th fastest time, with Antonelli two positions further behind and Alonso 19th. In addition to them, Williams’ Carlos Sainz will also start from the pit lane: the British team has in fact decided to make mechanical and aerodynamic changes, and as per the rules will see the Spanish driver start from the pit lane.
So far, the weekend of Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Antonelli and Fernando Alonso has literally been one to forget: of the three, only the Asturian has been able to pass one qualifying session, Q1 for the Sprint. In the short race Alonso finished 14th just ahead of Hamilton, while Antonelli finished 17th.
In addition to the difficulties in Belgium, the three drivers are not experiencing a sportingly happy moment: Hamilton has never made it to the podium this season if we exclude the Sprints in China (where he won) and Miami (where he instead finished third); Antonelli, except for a third place in Canada, has collected four retirements and an 18th place in the last six races; Alonso comes from four consecutive races in the points but has never finished better than seventh.
