The Italian teams’ preparations for the official start of the new season continue, with an intense series of friendlies occupying the summer months. At 6 p.m., in Bressanone, South Tyrol, Eusebio Di Francesco’s Lecce will face Luca D’Angelo’s Spezia.

The Salentini, who have chosen to rely on the former Venezia, are aiming for permanence in Serie A, while the Ligurians, who have confirmed the former Pisa man on the bench and will be at the start of the cadet tournament, will try to fight again for a promotion that they came close to at the beginning of June.

It will be a bench derby: both Di Francesco and D’Angelo are from Pescara. The match will be broadcast live free-to-air on Sportitalia, at channel 60 on digital terrestrial.

Probable lineups

Lecce (4-3-3): Falcone, Kouassi, Gabriel, Baschirotto, Gallo; Coulibaly, Ramadani, Berisha; N’Dri, Camarda, Morente. All. Di Francesco.
Spezia (3-5-2): Mascardi; Wiśniewski, Hristov, Mateju; Elia, Zurkowski, Nagy, Candelari, Aurelio; Vlahovic, Di Serio. All. D’Angelo.
