A former Pesaro and Napoli man for the'Estra Pistoia

The Estra Pistoia announced that it has reached an agreement with pivot Simone Zanotti. Born in Turin on Dec. 31, 1992, 208 centimeters and 106kg, he is one of the most experienced centers, as far as Italians are concerned, who has played in recent years between Serie A and A2.

After concluding his youth sector career with Pallacanestro Reggiana, in 2011/12 he played his first senior season in Serie B with Ruvo di Puglia (4.8 points in 16′ of usage) and then served in Lucca, again in the cadet division, landing in A2 in 2013/14 with Torino. After a subsequent call always from Lucca, he strengthens his potential still in B for four championships until landing in the A Series.

From 2018 to 2022 he is a key piece of Vuelle Pesaro with the best performance made in 2020/21 with 7 points and 3.1 rebounds average in just 14′ of usage in LBA. After Pesaro, Zanotti stayed in Serie A for two more seasons with Napoli (3.6 points plus 2.5 rebounds in 11′ on the parquet, however, ending the championship in A2 in Turin challenging Pistoia Basket in the promotion final won by the biancorossi 3-1) and Cremona (5.1 points with 45% from 2). In the last championship he returned, in A2, to Pesaro scoring 80% at the free with 6 points and more than 3 rebounds captured against a usage around 15′ per shoe lace.
