Jashari-Milan, endless soap opera: new twist

The market negotiation between AC Milan and Bruges for Ardon Jashari continues with another twist, a deal that the player would like to complete right away but that the Rossoneri club does not intend to close at the figures asked by the Belgian club. According to reports in the Flemish news outlet ‘Niewsblad’, the player has reportedly reiterated his intention to go to AC Milan, at the cost of self-excluding himself from the Bruges squad.
In the meantime, as the Belgian portal further explains, Jashari is taking advantage these days of a special permit (agreed some time ago with his club) to travel to North Macedonia to attend his brother’s wedding. The player is due to return to Belgium on Friday, August 1, but by then he trusts that the Rossoneri club and the ‘Blau-zwart’ may have finally agreed on the transfer.
The distance, at the moment, is rather high between Bruges’s request and Milan’s offer: the Belgians do not want to sell the Swiss midfielder for less than 40 million, Milan, on the other hand, remains firm on its positions and does not intend to exceed the offer of 33.5 million euros, to which another 4.5 million euros will be added as bonuses upon reaching certain goals.
At the age of 2002, born in Switzerland to a family of Albanian descent from northern Macedonia, Ardon Jashari arrived at Club Bruges in the summer of 2024 from Lucerne, managing to prove himself not only in the Belgian league but also on the difficult stage of the Champions League. In the intentions of the Rossoneri he should replace Tijjani Reijnders, who moved to Manchester City in June.
