NBA, a new Luka Doncic: targeted workouts and strict diet

Luka Doncic has decided to make a change. His first months at the LA Lakers were complicated. No NBA title run and lots of criticism for a not-top physique. The Slovenian, along with his team, decided to “sacrifice” the’summer to find a way to get to a fabulous physical condition for the’start of the 2025/26 regular season (Oct. 21).
The NBA all-star indulged in a lengthy interview with Men’s Health. Beyond the statements, it is the pictures of him in the gym that are jaw-dropping. Luka Doncic appears really pulled together, in excellent physical condition. Probably, in his entire career, he has never had such a lean and snappy physique.
“It was hard at first, especially having to do without basketball, but basically when I was a kid I played a lot of other sports“ his words. Indeed, no basketball but several hours in the gym, a few games of padel and pickleball but, above all, a strict diet with a personal nutritionist.
The results are there for all to see. Luka Doncic definitely wants to make a difference in what will be the’year of truth for his career. The LA Lakers expect a lot from him. The Slovenian is ready to take his responsibility to bring the NBA’ring to the yellowviola.
