When does Lorenzo Sonego play in Toronto: background with Bu
After a knockout in the opener with Matteo Arnaldi at the Washington ATP 500, Lorenzo Sonego wants to redeem himself in the Toronto Masters 1000. The Piedmontese, seeded No. 28, will make his debut with Yunchaokete Bu, world No. 76.
The match between l’Azzurro and the Chinese will open the program on court 4 on Wednesday, July 30: the two players will take the court at 6:30 p.m. Italian time (12:30 p.m. local time).
There is no precedent at ATP level between Sonego and Bu: the Turin player starts slightly favored but it will not be easy to overcome the Chinese obstacle, who in the opener overcame Czech Vit Kopriva (7-6 6-2) in two sets.
