When Flavio Cobolli plays in Toronto: background with Galarneau

Flavio Cobolli returns immediately to the court in the Toronto Masters 1000 after losing in the round of 16 at the Washington ATP 500 to Frances Tiafoe. The Roman, seeded 13th, will take on wildcard Alexis Galarneau, world number 193.
The match between the Blue and the Canadian is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30 on the ‘Motorola razr Grandstand Court’. Opening the dances at 5 p.m. Italian time (11 a.m. local) will be Andrey Rublev and Hugo Gaston, then it will be Cobolli and Galarneau’s turn.
There is no precedent at the ATP level between the two players.
