A win and a loss in Spain for Genoa

In the triangular match played at Estadio Carlos Tartere in Oviedo, Genoa beat Villarreal 3-1 in the first challenge that lasted 45 minutes and then in the second one lost on penalties to Oviedo after regulation time ended 0-0.
With Villarreal, Patrick Vieira’s red and blue went ahead in the 7th minute through Norton-Cuffy, equalizing the Spaniards in the 15th minute through Kambwala. In the 26th minute Vitinha missed a penalty but on the rebound put in the net, then the trio came in the 41st minute with Gronbaek.
The penalties are then taken anyway, to earn an extra point, and the win again goes to Genoa 5-3.
0-0, as mentioned, the second challenge, and the hosts win from the penalty spot 4-3.
