Ferrari: Charles Leclerc comments on Vasseur’s renewal

Charles Leclerc at a press conference in Hungary commented on the contract extension of Frederic Vasseur as team principal of Ferrari. Despite the last few disappointing seasons, the Scuderia has decided to rely on the French executive again even after the 2026 change of regulations.

“It does not come as a surprise to me, however, I am very happy because especially in recent months there had been various rumors around the team. I think Fred has an incredible vision: in Ferrari the emotional aspect is part of the daily work, because Italians in general are like that, they are passionate, and that is what makes Ferrari so special and difficult”.

“Fred is able to put emotions aside and have a clear vision regarding various situations, beyond all the noise surrounding the team”.

“Vasseur has many other qualities, of course, for example, the ability to extract the most out of each person in the factory, and when you put all that together it can make a big difference”.
