Tragedy for Sylvain Guintoli, 6-year-old son dies

Traging news for l’former World Superbike champion Sylvain Guintoli: his son Luca has died at the age of six, due to a tumor that in just over twelve months took him away.
This was communicated directly by the family in a message shared on social media: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news of the passing of our son Luca, after a year-long battle with cancer”.
“Our family is devastated. Luca brought so much joy and love into our lives. We will forever cherish the memories we have of him. Rest in peace Luca”.
Sylvain Guintoli, now a Suzuki test rider, raced in MotoGp between 2002 and 2019, but his best results were in Superbike, with 9 wins, 42 podiums and the 2014 world title.
