Ferrari, Charles Leclerc drastic: "I don’t save anything"

It is a visibly demoralized Charles Leclerc who presents himself to the Sky Sport microphones after his fourth place finish in the Hungarian Grand Prix d’Hungary, in which he started from pole position. The Monegasque, who vented to the Ferrari race wall over the radio for the choice to mount the hard tire on the third stint, has now turned back.
“In the car I didn’t have all the information, now I have it, we had a problem with the chassis around lap 40 – he explained -. From then on I was a passenger, there was nothing to do. There was a lot of frustration in the car, I thought we were to blame, but instead it was a problem”.
“I am disappointed and frustrated because it was a great chance to win – added Leclerc -, maybe the only one of the year, and until lap 40 we were perfectly in the race and I had the pace to stay in front. In the last 35 laps, though, I lost 45 seconds, but that’s racing, I was very angry, but now I understand what happened, these are things you can’t predict”.
“What do I save from this 2025? So far nothing, I am really disappointed. Really disappointed, because when there is an opportunity we have to take it, and today we did not. That is what I am left with from this first part of the season. After certainly there were steps forward, I’m very happy with the steps forward, how much we pushed to try to bring these updates, but on days like this it’s hard to see the positive. I am very disappointed, I think that is normal” Leclerc concluded.
