Paulo Azzi, third purchase in one day for Monza

Paulo Azzi is a new Monza player. The Italian-Brazilian, from Cremonese, has signed a contract with the biancorosso club until June 30, 2027, with automatic renewal for one more season if certain conditions are met.

Born in Bragança Paulista on July 15, 1994, in January 2014 he began his first Italian experience in the Serie B championship with Cittadella.

The Tombense brought him back to Brazil for a short parenthesis, but from 2015 he returned to Italy to wear the Spezia jersey with which he collected 13 appearances and 1 goal in Serie B.

After a long apprenticeship in Serie C with the jerseys of Pavia, Pordenone, Siracusa, Bisceglie, Pro Vercelli, Seregno and Lecco, in the summer of 2021 he moved to Modena.

With the Emiliani he lived a great season participating with 35 appearances, 6 goals and 6 assists in the Promotion to Serie B. In January 2023 he was bought by Cagliari and immediately won Promotion to Serie A. In his first season in the top division he collected 25 appearances with the Sardinians with whom he achieved salvation. He celebrates his third Promotion with Cremonese, where he arrives in January 2025 and is immediately the protagonist of the grigiorossi’s return to Serie A.
