L'Atalanta does not give up Lookman: transfer is not the only option

The Lookman soap opera seems far from its denouement, whatever it may be. The Nigerian striker is waiting for news and still has a strong desire to go and play for Inter. For its part, Atalanta continues to make a wall and, above all, does not consider the Lookman issue a priority.
The orbico club, in fact, is working to put in the service of new coach Juric a new striker who can take the place left vacant by Retegui, now in Saudi Arabia. The feeling is that the chosen one is Rodrigo Munez, a 24-year-old striker owned by Fulham.
As soon as the striker issue is resolved, it is likely that Atalanta will return its interest in Lookman. Currently out of the project and, more importantly, also “disappeared” from the radar, the Nigerian is in a not easy situation. Inter is waiting for him but will not do it forever.
Without a breakthrough in negotiations, it is possible that Lookman may not even be sold in the end in this summer market window. The hero of the Europa League final could, therefore, remain in Bergamo, albeit as a home separate. Obviously, before arriving at such a solution, every avenue will be tried and, probably, a new face-to-face with the player’s entourage. What is certain is that Atalanta does not want to do anyone any favors, primarily Lookman.
