Anything goes in Super Cup: PSG win on penalties

Everything happens in the European Super Cup final. PSG, down 0-2 until’85’ (Tottenham domination), finds the strength to react just when everything seems compromised. Thanks to the substitutes and a bit of luck, here come the goals of Lee and Gonzalo Ramos that take the game to penalties where, in the end, sorry Luis Enrique’s team.
Bitter Tottenham. After goals from van de Ven at 39′ and Romero, new captain, at 48′, the trophy seemed certain. At’85, however, Lee’s goal revived the Parisians. In full recovery, Gonzalo Ramos, another substitute, completes the comeback and changes the’outcome of the match.
It goes to penalties where Tottenham is less accurate and very defiant. Chevalier draws a penalty (to van de Ven) and Nuno Mendes scores the decisive one. First European Super Cup for PSG, which came in surreal fashion. Luis Enrique celebrates and avoids many trials.
To review Chevalier. Donnarumma’s replacement (left home by Luis Enrique’s choice) is the protagonist of a few good interventions, saves a penalty but is not blameless on Romero’s 2-0 goal. However, his coach extols him in the post match. Race to forget for Frank, Tottenham’s new coach. His debut turned into a nightmare.
