Manu Koné will not be going to Inter: according to rumors coming out of the capital, the negotiation for the Roma midfielder class of 2001, who will remain in the Giallorossi next season, has blown up. The Capitoline club&#8217s about-face came despite the initial green light from coach Gian Piero Gasperini, and especially after the reaction of the Piazza, which was very skeptical about the player&#8217s possible farewell. This was reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.

Before Friedkin&#8217s intervention, Inter and Roma had been working for a few days for an’understanding, the deal seemed close for the sum of 40 million euros plus bonuses.

Now the Nerazzurri have to decide how to invest the market budget: whether to return to focus on the operation for Ademola Lookman, who broke with Atalanta and has been waiting for days for the Nerazzurri, or whether to set out in search of alternatives to reinforce the midfield.
