Jannik Sinner on Atmane: "I didn’t know him, it was so hard"

Jannik Sinner, back in the finals in Cincinnati, commented on his performance this way after his match against Terence Atmane, which suffered especially in the first set: “It was a very tough challenge. When you face an unknown opponent it is always difficult, even more so if you do it in the last rounds of the tournament”.
“I knew I should have been very careful. In the first set Atmane served very well, he has huge potential. As far as I am concerned, I am happy to be back in the final”.
The Blue then explained how the rest day was important: “Sometimes you recover and sometimes you feel good and want to work. Yesterday I decided to rest. Sunday will be a more relaxing day”.
On yesterday’s rest day: “There are two kinds: the kind where you recover and the kind where you feel good and can work on something. I used yesterday’s day to rest. Tomorrow will be a more relaxing day”.
