Terence Atmane spies Jannik Sinner before the match

The volcanic Terence Atmane holds court before his match with Jannik Sinner in Cincinnati: in the tunnel leading to the court the French outsider gave the Blue on his 24th birthday a Pokemon card. Atmane is a big collector of cards from the Japanese cartoon, and he decided to pay tribute to Jannik by giving him a collectible card.
“I have something for you” he told him just before the’start of the match. Sinner in curiosity laughed and then appreciated his rival’s gift, putting the card in his duffle bag.
The video immediately went viral. Atmane, world number 136, made it all the way to the’Blue after beating great tennis players such as Rune and Fritz.
