Coppa Italia 2025-2026: Parma-Pescara, the probable lineups

At Parma’s Stadio Ennio Tardini, the host Gialloblù will contend with Pescara for a place in the round of 16 of the 2025-2026 Coppa Italia at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Parma enters the competition as a Serie A club outside the top seeds, the newly promoted Adriatics in B, on the other hand, have already faced the preliminary round of the Cup, beating Rimini 1-0.
Between the Ducals, the first aspect to arouse curiosity is related to Carlos Cuesta’s debut on the bench: 30 years old in July, in his first experience as head coach after his years as a deputy at Arsenal, the Mallorcan coach returns to Italy after his 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 years as assistant coach of Juventus’Under-17 team. On the pitch he is expected to field a 3-5-2 with Benedyczak and Pellegrino up front.
Also on the other side there’s a new coach to hold the reins of the team: Vincenzo Vivarini seeks personal revenge in Pescara after the negative parenthesis at Frosinone, from July to October 2024, which had followed instead the more than positive experience at Catanzaro, with which he had reached first promotion to the B division and then the playoffs of the cadetteria. The biancazzurri restart with a 4-3-3, with Merola, Ferraris and Cangiano in attack. In midfield, space for Valzania, who scored against Rimini.
