From Perr Schuurs a message that triggers Torino fans

Through an Instagram story, Perr Schuurs addressed Torino fans directly with a hopeful message: “Three years at this wonderful club: grateful for the’love and proud to wear these colors, one day I will be back on the field and it will be worth it”.

Thousands of Granata fans have commented with words of encouragement toward the unfortunate player, who has been in the pits since October 2023 due to a knee problem. He underwent surgery in August 2024 to permanently resolve the issue but the return is still unknown: it will take time.

Grew up in Fortuna Sittard, Perr Schuurs also wore the Ajax jersey before moving to Torino in 2022 for just under 10 million euros. With the Granata jersey the Dutchman grew a lot, but then a serious knee injury forced him’to stop.
