Parma rushes into the market after Frigan’s serious injury

A heavy tegola for Parma comes from Collecchio, where new signing Matija Frigan, who has just arrived from Westerlo, has suffered a serious knee injury and will have to stay out for a long time. The Emilian club has announced that the forward has suffered “rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee”.
Frigan, who was paid nearly 10 million euros, will be out most of the season after the operation.
Parma is forced to return to the market and do so quickly, as the session closes Sept. 1.
Cuesta’s team, already hit by Ondrejka’s serious injury, is in an attacking emergency when the season has just begun and now goes in search mainly of an offensive right back.
Among the names mentioned in recent days is Cagliari’s Zito Luvumbo, who can cover the position and was also sought by Bologna, Toulouse and Mainz. But at this point the Angolan striker may not be enough.
