Douglas Luiz is no longer a Juventus player: in fact, after just one season to forget in bianconero, it is official that he has transferred to Nottingham Forest on loan with a buy-back obligation.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that it has reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest FC for the transfer, on a temporary basis until June 30, 2026, of the rights to the sports performance of the player Douglas Luiz Soares de Paulo, for a consideration of € 3 million” reads the Bianconeri club’s statement.

“The agreement also includes an obligation on the part of Nottingham Forest to definitively acquire the rights to the player’s sports performance upon the occurrence of certain conditions during the 2025/2026 football season. The agreed consideration for the eventual outright transfer is €25 million, payable in four fiscal years; this consideration may be increased, during the term of the sports performance contract with the player, by an amount not exceeding €3.5 million, upon the achievement of certain sports goals”.

The Brazilian, who has already landed in Nottingham for medical examinations and signing on the contract until 2030, on arrival gave a few words to the journalists present: “Thank you, greetings to all”.
