Serie B 2025-2026: Pescara-Cesena, the likely lineups

Serie B 2025/26 opens with a challenge with a historic flavor. On Friday night, in the opening anticipation, Pescara returns to the fields of the cadetteria after four years and does so in front of its own public, against a Cesena that arrives with great ambitions.

The Abruzzesi, entrusted to Vincenzo Vivarini, are starting again with enthusiasm despite the farewell of Silvio Baldini, the promotion coach now leading the Azzurri’s Under-21 team. Among the biancazzurri, Letizia’s experience in defense and Valzania’s quality in the midfield stand out, called upon to give balance to a young and growing team.

Michele Mignani’s Cesena, on the other hand, is entering its second consecutive year in B with the stated goal of raising the bar. The club has confirmed most of the staff, giving up only Saric, who returned to Palermo, and reinforcing with valuable graft. The spotlight is on Cristian Shpendi, symbol of the Bianconeri attack, and Dimitri Bisoli, man of experience and heart of the midfield.
