Serie A 2025-26: Inter-Torino, the likely lineups

Monday marks the first day of Serie A 2025-26, and it does so with two matches, the second of which will face two teams that changed coaches in the summer: Inter and Torino, who will take the field at 8:45 p.m. at the Stadio Meazza. At 6:30 p.m., Udinese and Verona will play instead.

The Nerazzurri coach, Cristian Chivu, will not upset the set-up designed for years by his predecessor Simone Inzaghi, so there will be room for the now classic 3-5-2 with the attacking pair formed by Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Marco Baroni, who took Paolo Vanoli’s place on the Granata bench, is expected to opt for a 4-3-3 in which the two former Inter players Cristiano Biraghi and Cesare Casadei should also feature.
