Who is Conrad Harder, the striker surprisingly chosen by AC Milan

Acc Milan has closed the purchase of Conrad Harder, a promising striker from Sporting Lisbon: the Rossoneri decided to tack on him after the failure of the deal for Victor Boniface, who returned to Germany after medical examinations with the Milanese club. In the summit held Sunday morning Massimiliano Allegri gave the green light for the arrival of the 2005-born Dane: the player will arrive for a sum close to 24 million euros plus bonuses for a total of 27 million euros.
Harder grew up in Nordsjaelland and made his professional debut in 2023. A year later, the player was signed by Sporting Lisbon for the sum of 19 million euros. With the Lusitanians, he played the role of deputy Gyokeres, and contributed to winning the Portuguese league and Super Cup, scoring 13 goals in 54 games in all competitions, often subbing in from the bench.
The Dane made his senior national team debut in 2025. He’s been compared to Rasmus Hojlund and is a left-handed central forward with great physical power and an excellent shot.
The rumors about Harder’s arrival infuriated many Rossoneri fans on social media, who expected a higher-profile forward like Dusan Vlahovic. Instead, the Diavolo decided to bet on the highly-launched Dane, who in just two years since his debut has already landed on such an important stage as Serie A.
