Milan unlocks in second half, Lecce beaten

At the Stadio Via del Mare, Milan had to struggle for over an hour, with two goals cancelled out in between, to unlock the result and conquer the field of Lecce, which was eventually beaten 2-0 in the second advance of the second day of Serie A.

After four minutes, the Rossoneri had their first goal of the match annulled by VAR because Gabbia hit a header putting in the net but also committed a foul.

Second goal canceled for the guests in the 60th minute because Gimenez scored but offside. In the 66th minute finally the advantage for Milan: a free kick by Modric for the head of Loftus-Cheek who beats Falcone.

In the 86th minute, the double: Maignan’s throw-in, Danilo Varga’s mistake, ball to Pulisic who nails Falcone. Partial redemption for Max Allegri’s team after the resounding home defeat against Cremonese, the Salentini, on the other hand, remain with one point in the standings.
