Italbasket, Pozzecco: "We changed pace"

Italy coach Gianmarco Pozzecco commented on the Azzurri’s victory over Georgia at the European Basketball Championships: “I am very happy for my players. They deserved this victory because from day one they never spared themselves helping each other and helping me and all the staff”.
“Against Georgia we played well. We started in the right way but then we suffered their physicality and made some mistakes then changing pace in the second half of the game. Overall we defended strongly and ran against a tough team to play against”.
“Now we are thinking about Bosnia and Herzegovina, a team that for me has what it takes to aspire to the round of 16. We will have to be careful because they have valuable players. I am very sorry that Musa is not there, a guy I know with a lot of talent. EuroBasket has lost one of its stars”.
