Torino makes its move for left-back, official offer

It is no secret that Torino is insistently looking for a left-back to flank Cristiano Biraghi to complete the squad available to Baroni. After the tracks for Fortini and Salah-Eddine seem to have now definitely faded, the Granata club is carefully scrutinizing the foreign leagues, and Germany in particular.
Executives of the Piedmontese club have reportedly submitted an official offer for Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Niels Nkounkou, class of 2000. The player could arrive on loan with the right of redemption. Sky reports.
Nkounkou, formerly of Saint Etienne, is seeking a revival after two difficult seasons at Eintracht. Last year he played a total of 12 games in the Bundesliga, and eight in the Europa League. He can play either as a left-back or in a more advanced position in midfield.
