Adrien Rabiot and more: departures and arrivals for AC Milan at the end of the market
All Milan soccer club: several news both incoming and outgoing for the Rossoneri on Monday that concluded the summer Serie A negotiation window. Net of the mockery of Manuel Akanji, long pursued and eventually transferred to the cousins of the’Inter Milan, the Diavolo registered the long-awaited official arrival of Adrien Rabiot in midfield and the more surprising one of David Odogu in defense, while saying goodbye to Yunus Musah. The U.S. midfielder will play for Atalanta, but the contract renewal helps to understand that the Meneghina club intends to continue betting on him with a view to the future.
“AC Milan is pleased to announce the’outright acquisition of Adrien Rabiot from Olympique Marseille– wrote the Rossoneri club on its official website -. The French midfielder signed a contract with the club until June 30, 2028. Born in Saint-Maurice (France) on April 3, 1995, Adrien learned to play in French academies before joining Paris Saint-Germain, with whom he made his first-team debut in 2012”.
“After a season on loan at Toulouse– Milan continues in its presentation of the Frenchman -, he returned to PSG, collecting 227 appearances and 24 goals, winning Ligue 1 five times, two French Super Cups, five League Cups and four French Cups. In 2019, he moved to Juventus, where he collected 212 appearances, scoring 22 goals and winning one Scudetto, two Italian Cups and one Italian Super Cup. He returned to France in 2024, wearing the Marseille shirt, collecting 32 appearances and scoring ten goals. After completing the French youth sector, Rabiot made his first-team debut in November 2016. He collected 53 appearances and scored six goals with the national team, winning the 2021 Nations League”.
More surprising is the announcement of the new Rossoneri defender, a much less expected and celebrated player: “AC Milan announces that it has acquired the sporting services of the player David Uyoyo Odogu from VfL Wolfsburg. The German defender signed a contract with the Rossoneri club until June 30, 2029, with an option right in favor of the club to extend until June 30, 2030. Born in Berlin, Germany on June 3, 2006, David Odogu grew up in the German Youth Sectors between Union Berlin and Wolfsburg. In April 2025 came his debut in the Wolfsburg first team, with which he made 3 appearances. Odogu is a member of the Germany Youth National Team, with which he won the 2023 Under-17 European Championship and the 2023 Under-17 World Cup. David Odogu will wear the Rossoneri jersey number 27”.
Defined, as mentioned, also an outgoing transaction even if only on loan: “AC Milan announces that it has sold, on a temporary basis with the right of option for definitive acquisition, the sports performance of the footballer Yunus Musah to Atalanta BC’Atalanta BC. At the same time, the Rossoneri club announces the renewal of Yunus Musah’s contract, with an option to extend it until June 30, 2030. AC Milan wishes the player the best of satisfaction for the Sporting Season”.
