Neymar case, Carlo Ancelotti tries to be a firefighter

Ahead of the upcoming engagements against Chile and Bolivia, Carlo Ancelotti has decided not to call up Neymar. Initially, the Seleçao coach had justified his choice by citing as a reason the physical problems Neymar has suffered in recent weeks.

The Santos footballer, however, then ignited the controversy: “I am not injured, I think the choice is related to technical reasons. I did not play in the last game only as a precautionary measure but I am fine”.

During the press conference, Carlo Ancelotti tried to be a fireman: “He is right, his absence is a technical decision based on many factors. I know what the player is doing and the problems he has had. No one can argue with Neymar on a technical level, what we are evaluating is his physical condition, but not only his, but that of all players”.
