When Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini play in the doubles semifinals at the US Open

The dream of Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini to win the US Open together as well is still alive: after beating in the quarters the pair formed by the American Asia Muhammad and the Dutch Demi Schuurs with a score of 6-1, 7-6(5), the two Italian champions are ready to return to the court and play their chance to reach the final.
The opponents of the Italian pair, the No. 2 seed at Flushing Meadows, are Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and New Zealand’s Erin Routliffe. The match will be the last on Wednesday among those scheduled at Louis Armstrong Stadium: the start time is expected to be between 11 p.m. and midnight Italian time.
The timing will be weighed by the preceding match, the women’s other doubles semifinal, which will see Czech Katerina Siniakova and U.S. Taylor Townsend take on Russian Veronika Kudermetova and Belgian Elise Mertens on the court no earlier than 10 p.m. Italian time. As for the TV broadcast, the matches will be shown on ‘Sky Sport‘ channels, via satellite and streaming on NOW.
Jasmine Paolini seeks her first personal statement at Flushing Meadows, while Sara Errani has already tasted ultimate success by winning the women’s doubles in 2012, paired with Roberta Vinci, and the mixed doubles in both 2024 and 2025, in both cases alongside Andrea Vavassori.
