NBA All Star Game 2026, new format: United States vs. Rest of the World

The the NBA Europe project is being worked on to give the NBA Europe project a go. However, there’s a problem and it is called the All Star Game. The challenge between NBA basketball stars, especially in recent years, has not been a real treat for the eyes, in fact it has raised many doubts.
As reported by ESPN, the NBA is reportedly thinking of taking decisive action to make the All Star Game interesting again and, above all, with more competition on the court. The’idea would be to go for a new format: United States versus Rest of the World.
In fact, there are rumors of a triangular format with two teams made up of U.S. players and one with the best non-American outfielders. The new format is expected to be staged as early as the 2026 All Star Game, scheduled for Feb. 13-15 in the futuristic Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, the new home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
The proposal to commissioner Adam Silver came directly from the NBA Players Association. All that is awaited at this point is the official announcement by the NBA board to enshrine a real revolution at the All Star Game level. With this new format, it is clear that there would be more competition on the court, exactly what has been lacking in recent editions of the challenge between NBA stars.
