Cantù basketball has a new captain

Riccardo Moraschini will be the new captain of Cantù Basketball. This was announced by the Biancoblù club itself through an official note: “Pallacanestro Cantù announces that the technical staff and the players of the first team have chosen to entrust Riccardo Moraschini with the role of captain of the’Acqua S.Bernardo”.

“I am very happy and proud to be able to be the captain of this team– said Moraschini -I thank the coach for assigning me this position. It will be the first time as captain for me in my career and to do it in this club, moreover after achieving an important goal last year, is a reason for great satisfaction”.

“I will try to keep the group united in good times and in the most difficult ones – added the 34-year-old guard of the Lombardy team -, hoping to live all together a great year”.

“Riccardo is a player who has been able to create a strong bond with the city and was an important pillar in reaching the goal of promotion last season– explained coach Nicola Brienza -. He has the experience and maturity to play this role in the best possible way, transmitting to all newcomers the values and goals of our club”.
